I was so incredibly surprised at the lovely skin from Sachi Vixen the creator for Adam -n- Eve. She calls it E and it is a tribute skin in honor of the memory of Etta James. It is free at Adam n Eve until Monday 23rd January. you can pick up the skin here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Genesis/133/76/43. Here is a pic of me in the store wearing the skin with my own shape (there is one included as well as the skin). I haven’t edited it at all, because I wanted you guys to see what a lovely skin it is, but I did wear a lipstick layer from Glam Affair.

As Sachi put it in her notice to the group, “RIP Etta, thanks for all the music.”

52 Weeks of Color – New Additions

So this is my Week 2 post for 52 weeks of color and I am posting it in Week 3, but my reasons are good as to why I am just now posting. The pictures were taken in time, but due to a new addition in my household (See puppy on left below. That’s Mercy & Danny), I just haven’t been able to do the crops, the layouts and the writing to get a post up.

I have to say how amazed I am by single moms. My new addition is just a puppy and my life is already filled with sleepless nights and trips outside every 30 minutes and very few private moments to think or do something for me. I am just happy to be getting a daily shower. Mothers and fathers of human children truly have my utmost respect. And now on to the real reason for the post, outfits of coral coloring:

Luna Jubalee is starting off the New Year than with round two of her 52 Weeks of Color Challenge. I just found this late Friday night so I am a little past the first dead line with these pictures, but I decided to make up for it by doing both a casual and dressy look. Khloe Khondor – Kuter than a Kewpie Doll

One of the things I love about SL is how much we embrace the differences in people. This is one of the few places that a person can be who they want to be and still be accepted. One of my best friends, since my early days of SL, is Khloe Khondor. We have so many differences not to mention many similarities, but some how none of the differences have ever mattered.

Each time we see each other, I am amazed by her cuteness (like in the picture above). After getting done admiring the cuteness, we take the opportunity to share tidbits of information that we have gleaned that might help the other one’s style or things we have discovered in SL that we think the other might enjoy seeing or doing. So many of my discoveries in SL have been because of Khloe. So much of the enjoyment that I have experienced in SL has been a direct result of my friendship with her.

Last time we met up for one of the brief moments that we occasionally managed to steal, Khloe was sporting the adorable look you see above. She just fit the day so perfectly that I asked her permission to share her outfit with both of my readers. ;D Lucky for you two, that she said, “Yes.” Following her answer, she shared her outfit details (got to love that copy current outfit to clipboard feature in Firestorm, among several other great Firestorm features), and she cautioned me that at least one of the creators may have gone out of business. I am doing my best to get SLURLs, but no promises; check out the SLURLs page for as many as I can find, but ~GypsySoul~ is sadly one of the ones that has gone out of business.
